June 2015 Renton, Washington – Global Engineering and Construction, LLC announced the company has been awarded a $290 million, firm-fixed price, IDIQ Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) Design/Build Contract to provide repair and renewal services for failed or failing Government facilities, systems, and equipment throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) including Alaska, Guam, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. Territories and possessions, locations with named contingency operations, Japan and Korea in support of the Facilities repair and Renewal Program.  Task Orders are intended to provide quick response for facility repair, renovation, conversion, alterations, new construction and the procurement/installation of equipment at Government installations including laboratories, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities and highly specialized facilities. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama is the contracting activity.
