July 2001 Renton, Washington – Global Engineering and Construction, LLC (Global) announced that the company has been awarded a $17 million, firm-fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Contract (SAC) by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Worth District for the renovation, repair, upgrade, alteration and construction including design/build capabilities for all Fort Polk, Louisiana non-medical facilities, and various facilities within the Southwest Division (SWD) boundaries.
