March 2004 Renton, Washington – Global Engineering and Construction, LLC (Global) announced that the company has been awarded a $8 million, firm-fixed price, Single Award – Job Order Contract (JOC), for the renovation, repair, upgrade, alteration and construction including Design/Build capabilities for the University of Washington’s Seattle main campus, University of Washington Medical Center, UW Tacoma Campus, Harborview Medical Center, UW Medical Center, Gig Harbor Research Center Work and Rattlesnake Mountain Observatory.
