September 2006 Renton, Washington – Global Engineering and Construction, LLC (Global) announced that the company has been awarded a $250 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District for the renovation, repair and minor construction including Design/Build capabilities for All DoD Army Medical Facilities and all Category 500 Medical Support Facilities in the U.S. including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
