August 2007 Renton, Washington – Global Engineering and Construction, LLC (Global) announced that the company has been awarded $13 million firm-fixed price design build project by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District to include the upgrading of the entire primary electrical distribution system (Central Plant) including the critical emergency electrical backup system for the entire Medical Hospital and Support Facilities associated with the Historic Tripler Army Medical Campus, Honolulu, Hawaii.
