Site Safety and Health

We have a Safety Record that is better than the Construction Industry Standards and in full compliance with OSHA standards and regulations.

Global LLC’s Site Safety and Health Plan comply with the Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements Manual, EM 385-1-1 and all OSHA requirements (29CFR 1910 and 1926) and federal laws and regulations including JCAHO and AAAHC Standards. Project specific Accident Prevention Plans will be developed which incorporate all state and local laws and regulations as well as identified hazards and controls to be implemented. Environmental issues will be identified and procedures and controls identified to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local policies, laws and regulations regarding releases to the environment, hazardous material handling and disposal and worker and personnel exposure to hazards.

A major component of Global LLC’s safety program involves procedures to ensure that life safety of all building occupants is provided in accordance with NFPA 101, the Life Safety Code®, Latest Edition. When building features and/or conditions are found to be deficient and cannot be corrected immediately, then Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) are implemented. The Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) encompasses all situations when known Life Safety Code® deficiencies cannot be immediately corrected and when building and fire protection features are compromised. For circumstances where building fire protection features are compromised, (construction, renovation, remodeling, maintenance, etc.) an evaluation will be conducted using an ILSM Assessment Matrix prior to commencement of the project. The Matrix can be used to evaluate and assign appropriate interim life safety measures.
